App layering appliance system OS upgrade

The operating system used for the App Layering appliance is CentOS 7, which has an announced end of life on June 30, 2024.

Now in development is an appliance that will be running a modern version of Linux. The new appliance will provide improved supportability, security compliance, and other benefits.

It is important to note that there will not be an in-place upgrade from the CentOS 7 appliance, to the new Linux version. You will need to download and deploy a new appliance running the new version of Linux, and then migrate your data from the old appliance to the new.
