Google Identity Support for Citrix Workspace

Citrix support for Google Cloud Identity authentication enables Citrix Workspace authentication using both native Google Identity accounts and Active Directory backed accounts. It also enables non-domain joined Citrix DaaS workloads with Workspace authentication configured to Google Cloud Identity. Organizations who have invested in Google Workspace and Cloud identity enjoy simplified deployments and reduced costs as the need for Active Directory and Cloud Connectors is eliminated.

Enable Azure ARM template spec as Machine Profile input

Citrix Provisioning
Previously, you could use only VMs as machine profiles. You can now use ARM template specs as machine profiles as well when creating Azure machine catalogs. This feature lets you take advantage of Azure ARM template features such as versioning. To ensure that the selected spec is configured correctly and contains required configurations, we perform validation on it. If the validation fails, you are prompted to select a different machine profile.

Delivery Controller/Broker
The App-V node is renamed to App Packages and redesigned to accommodate more types of Microsoft packaged apps. Previously, you had to use the discovery module to add App-V apps to Citrix Cloud for delivery. You can now add and deliver App-V apps in one place by using the App Packages node.

New Machine Load Indicator scores in Citrix Analytics

Unlike traditional load scores which purely look at resource usage and miss fire warnings of high load when genuine resource intensive applications are launched by users. Citrix Analytics has devised a new Machine Load Indicator Score which calibrates for user-experience and shows a score from 0 to 100 indicating how utilized your Citrix VDA/VDI machines are. And allowing you to shut or close those machines which are perpetually under-utilized or expand capacity where machines are heavily utilized.

The Session Recording service lets you subscribe to email notifications to notify specific recipients about resource usage alerts, server status changes, and the results of automated tasks for archiving and deleting recordings.
