What's new and upcoming with Citrix technology and features

This feature enables admins to create automation scripts for large App Layering deployments via a new REST-ful API. This feature will assist in automating deployments that involve a large number of applications, images, and target user groups. The API will include commands for layer and image template management.

Citrix Workspace App for Mac is supported on macOS 14 Sonoma.

Enables PVS administrators to invoke the Image Portability Service to automate reverse-imaging a PVS vDisk to a native VMware VMDK.

This feature enables admins to change disk and memory cache size to facilitate finding the most optimized cache configuration and adopt changing business needs when changing VM configurations.

Allow customers to integrate with other business systems and automate workflows

Domain name truncation will allow Citrix cloud to count unique users based on their account name alone. If you have users with the same account name under multiple domains, this feature will increase the accuracy of licensing statistics and reduce the likelihood of assigning multiple licenses to the same user.

Citrix now supports Nutanix Clusters on Azure. It is a single cluster support and offers the same functionalities as Nutanix on-premises clusters.

Connector-Gateway PoP Latency is now displayed on the Connector Statistics page and also available in the Sessions self-service view as an optional column. This information helps you choose and configure the closest Gateway PoP to achieve the optimum session experience.
