What's new and upcoming with Citrix technology and features

Federated Authentication Service (FAS) officially supports Venafi Zero touch PKI and HID PKIaaS.

When you create a catalog to provision machines using Machine Creation Services (MCS) in VMware environments, you can now use a machine profile to capture properties such as tags, folder ID, and vSAN storage policy, from a virtual machine and apply them to the newly provisioned VMs in the catalog.

This feature introduces a mechanism for customers to retry upgrades on Connector Appliances and Cloud Connectors in the "failed" state without Citrix intervention.

This feature introduces the option to postpone a scheduled Connector Appliance or Cloud Connector upgrade by an additional 2 weeks. This can only be done once.

With this change, admins are able to use a built-in user interface in addition to existing APIs to provide a custom root certificate which will be added to the bundle included with the Connector Appliance, which will in turn allow connections to be intercepted by proxies.

Updated the Citrix Cloud registration flow for FAS Servers to provide a consistent user experience, and improve the security posture of FAS servers.

We are introducing support for Federated Authentication Service (FAS) across multi-tenant environments

Organizations can configure FAS and AAD to achieve SSO to AAD resources within a VDA session.

Previously, you could only use KMS to activate VMs. With this feature, now you can also activate persistent and non-persistent VMs provisioned through MCS using Multiple Activation Key (MAK). Each VM is activated once using MAK. 

A new "Support Tickets" role is available, allowing full access administrators to limit access to the "Support Tickets" menu options.
