What's new and upcoming with Citrix technology and features

This change makes available public APIs which can be used to manage resource locations programmatically

With this change, Federated Authentication Service (FAS) officially supports Sectigo and Keyfactor Certificate Authorities. It's no longer required to use Microsoft Certificate Authority while using FAS.

Events for resource locations are now available in System Log.

With this change, admins are able to provide a custom root certificate which will be added to the bundle included with the Connector Appliance, which will in turn allow connections to be intercepted by proxies.

Administrators will be able to change the password through the Connector Appliance administrator interface. 

A simplified settings menu option and page shows the necessary features and customizations allowed based on an administrator's role.

The activity feed gives you information about the events and tasks that happened in the past. With the activity feed, you know what happened in your system without having to stare at the screen all the time.

Citrix support for Google Cloud Identity authentication enables Citrix Workspace authentication using both native Google Identity accounts and Active Directory backed accounts. It also enables non-domain joined Citrix DaaS workloads with Workspace authentication configured to Google Cloud Identity. Organizations who have invested in Google Workspace and Cloud identity enjoy simplified deployments and reduced costs as the need for Active Directory and Cloud Connectors is eliminated.

Released in Q4 2022, Image Portability Service now supports preparing on-premises Machine Creation Services and Provisioning Services images to run in AWS.
